2021 was another turbulent year for our industry, but we all pushed through, and we have had an incredible year. Even throughout the ups and downs, our talent has persisted and taken part in an unbelievable range of jobs. Despite persistent lockdowns throughout Melbourne & Sydney, entertainment was deemed essential in most areas, so we were consistently busy booking job after job.
We are so proud of all of the fantastic work that has happened this year and how exceptional our talent has been throughout. Our Instagram (@bettinamanagement) and Facebook page will give you a nice wrap up of the year and show off most of the work our kids have done this year, full of heaps of adorable snaps of our little ones.
We have also continued to work with some of our most loyal clients, including Cotton On Kids, Big W, Best & Less, Country Road, Bonds, Rock Your Baby, Target and Seed. And we worked with a large number of impressive clients for the first time, including Culture Kings Jnr., City Beach and many more!
Hitting The Big Screen
In September, Marvel released the long-awaited Shang-Chi and The Legends of The Ten Rings, and even though it was filmed last year, we couldn’t talk about this amazing achievement until its release this year.
One of our wonderful Bettina Babes, Elodie Fong, was lucky enough to hit the big screen after landing the role of ‘Young Xu Xialing’ in the blockbuster film. We are so proud of her and love watching our talent shine!
AFL Across The Country
This year we were lucky to be a part of an Australia wide campaign with the AFL and their McDonalds Footy Cards campaign. Across Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne, four of our Bettina Babes participated in shoots with prominent football players Jack Riewoldt, Nat Fyfe and Dayne Zorko. This fantastic campaign led to some great footage of our little ones; good job Noah, Laura, Billy & Gryffin!
New Ranges, New Faces
This year, we were fortunate enough to have our talent help businesses launch their new ranges once again. The most prominent of these was the launch of the Culture Kings Shorties range, which is their brand new junior range. Kids can now enjoy their range, and our talent has loved working with them throughout the year.
Adventure All-Around
One lucky Bettina babe, Zara, was privileged enough to land a job where she was flown from Perth to Carnarvon to shoot a Horizon Power TV commercial. With a two day, all-expenses-paid trip for Zara and a chaperone, the opportunity was once in a lifetime, and she had an amazing time. We are so proud and can’t wait to see the final product.
‘Bumped’ Into The Big Time
This year, we are fortunate to have had one of our beautiful kids land the role as ‘Young Santi’ in the Stan Original hit show Bump. What an incredible year it has been for Oliver, and we can’t wait to see what 2022 holds for him! At the young age of 9, Oliver will be on your screens on Boxing Day when the second season is released.
‘Little Kids, Big Ideas’
Our little star Isabella has been doing some incredible work with ABC. She has been a part of ABC Kids new segment ‘ Little Kids, Big Ideas’. This exceptional series is available on ABC TV & iview and is a great and informative watch for both kids and adults. Good job, Isabella!
