As an industry first, Bettina Management is now offering a DIY model that puts parents in control of their child’s profile and helps them to save money on entry costs into the industry. This leaves us time to focus on doing what we do best – looking after our impressive client list by matching our talent with commercial opportunities and handling all business affairs from start to finish. This means that all of our services will be delivered 100% online in a user-friendly manner to offer busy parents the flexibility of doing things in their own time. For all parents who are on our books or looking to join, we have prepared a step-by-step guide on getting started with our agency. The way we operate has changed significantly and we want to ensure that everyone can start the process (or continue their journey) with all the information that they need.
1. Applying Online
So you have decided to seek professional representation for your child and get them a headstart in the entertainment industry. That is the very first step in starting the process!
The next thing to do is jump onto the Bettina Management website –
https://bettina.atmstaginghub1.com/apply-now
Click ‘Apply Now’ — Complete the ‘Become A Star Application Form’ –– Hit ‘Submit’
While you’re on our website take a look around to see what we’re about. This is where you can find information on locations, travel and requirements, talent categories, our clients and our work. The FAQs page is particularly handy for answering common questions and concerns.
We offer representation in the following states – VIC, NSW, QLD (Brisbane & Gold Coast) and WA. All talent must live within 2 hours of the CBD in their state!
2. Extended Application Survey
Once you have applied online via the Bettina website, we will send you an extended application form that will take about 4-5 minutes to complete. This form will help us get to know your little star better and be able to assess their suitability for the industry and the most appropriate categories for placement with the agency.
At the end of this form, you can watch our video introduction which covers how our agency works, what we offer, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you, as well as any costs associated with representation. You can also choose to watch this later but we do recommend setting aside a few minutes to do so within a day or two of applying..
After you have submitted both forms, our Castings Team will review your responses and determine whether your child will be suitable for the industry and whether we have a place for them on our books. This process will take up to 2-3 business days so you can expect to receive your outcome within this timeframe.
3. Application Outcome
If your child is accepted into our agency, you will receive an offer of placement via email. This will include an Agency Introduction Pack and will outline everything you need to do to proceed in signing up so make sure to keep an eye on your inbox/junk folder!
To accept our offer and register your child with our agency, you will need to sign an ‘Agency Agreement Form’ and complete your payment. If you are based in VIC, QLD or WA you will need to allocate which of our 6 or 12 month talent packages you would like to register your child for.
This offer will be valid for approximately 2 weeks. We can only keep spots on hold for this period of time as we have limited spaces available in each category.
Along with this, you will also receive all other relevant documentation and a link to access our online Chat-to-Camera course that will teach you how to record and upload self tapes. We recommend that all talent over 3 years of age have a self tape on their casting profile so that our clients gain a better understanding of their personality and skills.
If you do not receive an offer it could likely be due to the following reasons – your child’s category is full, they’re over 16 years old, or we do not think they will be suitable for the industry.. If you are concerned with the outcome we are here to help otherwise you don’t need to do anything else.
NSW –
To accept our offer of placement and join the agency; the next step is to complete your payment for the Studio Experience package and book in for a studio session to get the required Head and Body Shot for setting up their casting profiles.
This package is only offered to NSW applicants as Attitude Studios (the studio we have used for our talent’s head and body shots) has closed all other locations.
4. Once you have signed on with Bettina
Once you are listed with the agency, you will be able to add your own photos to your child’s profile and update information 24/7. By doing so, our clients will always have access to the most accurate images and info of your little star.
These can be photos you have taken on your smartphone or professional photographs that have been taken in a studio. The choice is yours, however, bear in mind that these photos will be regularly submitted to our clients so we need it to show your child in the best light possible!
You will get access to our comprehensive online course guiding you from everything pics and poses to the particulars of putting together the most effective portfolio. Even though you can do it on your own you are not alone as our team will check everything and can also upload photos if you get stuck.
About 4 weeks after your registration date you should expect to receive the following –
Welcome E-Magazine – your complete guide to your child’s representation.
Syngency Online Profile Login Details – your personal login details for your child’s online profile
Casting Corner Essentials Document – our final top tips for a successful year with the agency. Comprehensive information on all aspects of the industry and our agency.

5. Booking your photoshoot with Attitude Studios
If you are based in NSW and have received an offer of representation, we will email you a link to book your initial photo shoot. Before attending your photoshoot, ensure you have read and understood the guidelines outlined in your ‘Starter Pack’ so that you are prepared and maximise your photo shoot in the allocated time frame.
All information regarding your child’s photoshoot and what they need to wear will be in the ‘Studio Savvy’ document, attached to your ‘Preparing for Your Photoshoot’ email.
If you have not received this email it may be in your junk/spam folder or you can contact our Helpdesk at [email protected].

At Your Studio Session
Attitude Studios has extremely professional and experienced photographers and crew so you are in good hands. To make your experience even better and use the given time effectively, ensure you follow proper studio etiquette!
Once all photos have been taken, you will get the chance to sit down with the photographer or studio assistant who will guide you through completing your registration and choosing the default head and body shot photos.
If you elected to go on a payment plan, you would have received a copy of your agreement and our ‘About Your Payment Plan’ document which should answer any questions you may have.
Keep in mind that representation starts about one month after your initial photo shoot. This is to allow time for all images to be edited and online profiles to be running.
We hope this helps answer some of your questions and wish your child all the best!
